The Flag of Catamarca Province, Argentina, is a rectangular bicolor flag with horizontal bands of sky blue (top) and white (bottom), representing the sky and snow-capped mountains respectively. In the center, there is an emblem containing a red escutcheon, inside which is a silver star with seven points surrounded by three ears of wheat and a branch of laurel. The flag was officially adopted on May 12, 1957. The design symbolizes the province's agricultural wealth, its mining industry, and its status as a historic region within Argentina.
