Description:

Commissioned by Erfurt Opera, this is the premiere live performance of the opera "The Wives Of The Dead," composed by German composer Alois Brader (b.1961) between 2008 and 2010 and premiered in 2013. Alois Brader wrote the libretto based on the story "The Wives Of The Dead", a short story of the same title written by American author Nathaniel Hawthorne (1804-1864), and CD1 contains the English version and CD2 the German version.
