One More Weber Opera, a 16-minute work for solo clarinet and orchestra (comprising double wind and brass, timpani and strings), was commissioned for Sabine Meyer and premiered by the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra in 1993. The composer combines the genres of opera and concert music, giving the clarinet the main role in an ironic view of the language (and clich?s) of opera.
