The Flag of Kurgan Oblast is the official heraldic symbol representing the administrative division of Russia known as Kurgan Oblast. The flag was officially adopted on March 13, 2006. The design of the flag consists of three horizontal stripes in green, white, and green, with a yellow stylized sun centered in the middle of the white stripe. The upper and lower green stripes are identical in width, while the white stripe is twice as wide. This tricolor pattern with a central emblem is shared with the Russian national flag but features unique elements specific to Kurgan Oblast's regional identity.
