General
The Keeley Synth-1 Reverse Attack Fuzz Wave Generator transforms the sound of your guitar into that of a synthesizer, space-ship or light sabre in a split second. Using the Attack control, the lead-in time of the swell can be set anywhere from 4 to 1,500 milliseconds while the Blend control lets you decide how much of the clean signal you'd like to mix in or take out. The more to the right you turn it, the more fuzzy and synth-like the sound gets.
The Synth-1 Reverse Attack Fuzz Wave Generator: Complete Control
Keeley's Synth-1 offers the option of hooking up an external expression pedal using a standard stereo jack cable. This gives you the ability to adjust the filter control in real-time and shapes a kind of wah-wah effect. For additional sonic flavours, there are three popular wave forms to choose from, square, saw and sine but, if you prefer sonic pandemonium in the form of a flanger-like effect with hard-clipped distortion, simply brace yourself and then flick the special Chaos switch.
